Project in focus

We were initially engaged to investigate an opportunity to acquire an English language school as a going concern.  Our operations review made a number of recommendations to turn around the business and protect the brand.

Once the new owners had taken over day to day operations, we were appointed as change agents.  We worked alongside the new managing director over a six-month period, focusing on organisation development and new management information systems.  We engaged and cross-trained the new marketing manager, developed the marketing plan and kickstarted cost-effective social media marketing initiatives.  On the systems side, we liaised with external contractors to develop an integrated financial and school administration system.  We then worked closely with the COO and Finance Director to develop a new business plan and KPI dashboards to facilitate day to day internal controls.
